Power flushing
- When upgrading a traditional floor standing
boiler to a new high efficiency unit it is imperative that a
full power flush be carried out on the central heating system. ‘Power
flushing’ is
carried out by attaching a specially designed pumping system to
the boiler and radiator pipe work and forcing cleansing chemicals
around the radiators, pipe work and boiler.
- This
practice can be done as part of an upgrade or can be carried out
as a separate job on a existing system to improve the overall efficiency
of an older system.
